DANUBE DELTA EXPRESS
ONE DAY BOAT TRIP TO MILA 23
We offer a day trip in the Danube Delta from Tulcea to Mila 23 and return.
The point of embarkation is TULCEA PORT AVAL. The meeting with the guide will be at 9.15, and at 9.30 the boat will leave the pontoon.
Our boats are equipped with life jackets for all passengers, including children.
The trip will be done on one of the most beautiful tourist routes in the Danube Delta, respectively:
Tulcea → Bratul Tulcea → Canalul Mila 36 → Garlele Sireasa, Sontea → Lacul Fortuna → Dunarea Veche → Satul Mila 23 → canalul Eracle → lacul Radacinos → Lacul Trei Iezere → Satul Mila 23 → Tulcea
At Mila 23 there is a 1.5 hour stop, on which you can visit the village, you can relax at a terrace on the Danube bank and you can also have lunch at our guesthouse.
Lunch is optional, costs 17 Euro/ person and you can opt for a traditional fishing menu, which includes soup, main course and a coffee. If you want to have lunch please notify us one week before arriving in the Danube Delta.
After this stop, the excursion continues for another 1.5 hours on a spectacular route that includes the Eracle canal and Radacinos and Trees Iezere lakes. On this route there are big chances to see many pelicans. After another short stop at Mila 23, you will leave for Tulcea where the boat will arrive no later than 4.30pm.
Prices
The price includes the following services:
- 1 place in the boat (each passenger will be assigned a life jacket on boarding);
- Romanian speaking tour guide;
- Visiting fee of the Danube Delta;
The following services are not included in the price:
- Parking the cars at the boarding place, in the Port Aval Tulcea parking lot (costs 6 Euro/ car / day);
- Lunch – if we are announced in advance, you can have lunch at our guesthouse in Mila 23, traditional fish menu-17 Euro/ person;

The prices presented above are calculated for the whole group, you will divide the costs by the number of people in your group.
For example, if you are a group of 4 people the price for the whole group is 285 Euro.
Another example, if you are a group of 7 people, you will pay the same price, 470 Euro, as in the case of a group of 11 people.
For these trips we use 2 types of boats, depending on the size of your group.
Specifications
The reservation becomes effective when 50% of the total price of the trip for the whole group is paid in advance.
For these trips you cannot pay with holiday vouchers because, according to the legislation in force, with holiday vouchers you can pay packages of tourist services that contain mandatory and accommodation, which is not the case in this package of tourist services.
According to the legislation in force, a child, regardless of age, is considered to occupy a seat in the boat, just like an adult. That is why if you are a group of 5 adults and 2 children, you cannot opt for a boat with a maximum capacity of 6 persons.
In order to be able to enjoy as much of the unique landscapes of the delta, the trip will be done with a motor boat which has no roof. To prevent any inconvenience that may occur during boat trips, caused by the weather, please bring your raincoats (in all seasons), thick clothes, jackets and caps (spring and autumn), hats, glasses sun cream (summer).
