The first course served is the traditional Danube Delta fish sour soup, consisting of 2 dishes. First, the fish boiled in the sour soup (cooked fish) is served with mujdei (Romanian garlic sauce), and then the gravy from the fish sour soup is served.

The main course is fish with side dish: fish souse, char grilled carp, fried fish, fish schnitzel, plachie de peste (fried fish and garlic, then cooked in tomato sauce) or many other fish goodies.

In the end, a delicious dessert!

The bread, red pepper and the mujdei (Romanian garlic sauce) are included in the served dishes.

Dinner consists of an appetizer, main course (fish and side dish, different from the one served for lunch).

Details

The boarding-house has a pavilion in the garden with a capacity for 24 persons.

Children under the age of 5 will have the meals free of charge if accommodated with two adults. For children between 5 and 12 years old, accommodated with two adults, the price for the meals will be reduced by 50%.

Guests are not allowed in the food unit, and if they bring foodstuff, it can be kept in the refrigerators of the boarding-house, provided there is enough space.

In general, the menu we offer to our guests is based mainly on fish specialties, cooked after traditional Lipovan recipes. If there are persons in your group not eating fish, please let us know beforehand, by giving us a call.
